Tbf, it does seem a little snakey the way Brian hijacked the 'DeathSquad' name/label that was associated with a certain group of people and then used it for his own musings and furthered his own BS using the bang from name value alone.. I think that's why Joe's a little annoyed in how Brian can't even comprehend the angle it looks like (even if Brian didn't intentionally do it that way, I still find it hard to believe that he didn't realise it would look like that regardless) he's shooting.
I think the other thing that might have gotten under Joe's craw here is that even though the term DeathSquad is a name that references a collection of comedians / talent that happen to be good friends / brothers & sisters with one another (family, as Joe previously put it) and Brian, is neither a comedian or talented has hijacked the name to further promote anything he's associated with which is a wee bit unfair as – from a comedic standpoint – he's had nothing to do with growing the label from a talent prospective, although I imagine a few of you will say he did this and that with IT etc.
I liked the idea and premise of brothers i arms hailing under the flag of DeathSquad to help them belong in a sea of crazyness the showbiz world churns out. But the label went downhill a long time ago; which makes sense as I believe (please tell me if I'm wrong) Joe let go of the name/label/idea of DeathSquad and left it to Brian. Now look at it.
