Just watched it again for the first time in years last night
It's an old fashioned film about living your dreams
Freddy Got Fingered absolutely RULES! I love that stupid movie. The fact that Tom didn't go all mainstream with his momentary popularity and didn't make some sappy romantic comedy with Drew Barrymore… like Sandler did 20 times… Sandler was once like Tom, with funny weird movies but then went all lame mainstream PG-13 romantic comedy… But Tom went totally dark and weird and took a massive gamble. It didn't pay off because our boring culture reviles dark funny and only appreciates 'nice' clean funny. But funny is funny. But who cares about mainstream success. Tom earned much respect from all comedy lovers because he made a legendary film. Sure, it's legendary for being utterly idiotic. But he brought the main ingredient — funny. And that's all that matters. Nobody remembers Home Fries or some lame Sandler/Barrymore film… But nobody will forget Freddy Got Fingered. The title is kick-ass. It may be the best title for any movie in cinematic history.
Worst movie ever made and this is worse than Alan Smithee, the room and food fight, worse than cailou. Does Tom green go to make a live action movie of cailou as a anti comedy of a Canadian cartoon. I hate him and cailou.
