The purpose is to see how you behave as a human to see where you go when we die.
There is no purpose only then to compose and decompose, so why live? Well because it's fun and enjoyable. If you're not having fun or enjoying things then why are you here? Do what you like because life will move on with or without you and that means you've got limited time to do what you want, so do what you want to do because life doesn't care. And it won't wait until you start caring, it'll just move on. It doesn't care what you do or do not do, that's for you to decide. It's your time, do what you want with it, you choose how you fill up your life and how you live it. You choose at the end of your life if you think that you've had a fulfilling life. And if you've got nothing that you want to do that's okay too. You can just live until you die and that's it.

You, as a person making decisions, doesn’t matter.
That’s why determinism is satanism. There is no meaning to anything one does or chooses to do. There can’t be because you have no free will and those choices were t yours.
The fact that he attempts to answer Joe’s question in terms of things he wants to do, be nice to people etc, shows he doesn’t truly believe in his deterministic view cause now espousing choices he might or might not make. Assuming that these choices r a product of his free will.
This a contradiction and in philosophy contradictions lead to refutation.
