The Seventh-day Adventist doctrine is the most closely allied to the Bible than any other denomination. My only wonder is why there are no SDA communities like the Bruderhof? These communities forsake all goods and live with one another like they did in the first century (Acts 2 and 4). No one is ever shipped off to a nursing home when they get old, and they demonstrate to the world how wonderful a Christ-centered community can and should be. I really wish we had something like they have. I am thinking of living with the Bruderhof since their community has stayed together for 100 years, but they don't keep the Sabbath holy like we do. I don't see this kind of commitment among the SDAs, and I wish we did…..
