PEDs do not have any disadvantage they improve every aspect of your game from strengths, speed, focus, stamina, aggression. I can think of fighters who are better at higher weight classes such as BJ Penn, RDA, Robert Whitaker, Micheal Johnson, Diego Sanchez, Anthony Johnson, Dustin Poirier, Micheal Johnson, Anderson Silva, Fedor Emelienenko, Vitor Belfort. How many guys are better off the juice than when they were on?
The only proof we need is look at Vitor at light heavyweight while on the juice then look at middlewieght while off the juice and see where he looks better.

From a commission's perspective, the point for weight-cutting is to make the fight as fair and as evenly matched as possible but from a fighter's perspective, the point for weight-cutting is to have a massive advantage on their opponent. Why the fuck would Yoel Romero, Khabib Nurmagomedov, Darren Till, and MacKenzie Dern put their bodies through hell in order to make their desired weight class? Darren Till and Khabib are the biggest examples of huge weight cuts. They're literally risking their lives to gain an advantage on their opponent, not because they want to make the fight fair. That's why I respect guys like Colby Covington, Donald Cerrone, and Lyoto Machida who cut less than 10% of their body weight. Colby and Cowboy walk at 180 and fight at 170. Machida used to weight 196 in the LHW division and eventually dropped to middleweight. Weight-cutting is glorified cheating or at the very least, bending the rules.
Why does no one bring up heavyweights in this discussion? It is 100% legal for a guy that is 265 to fight someone who is 225. What because they are bigger the weight doesn't matter? If Yoel got in the cage with Max Holloway there would be a serious difference in those guys strength.
