I mean actually the guy had a good point when it came to rape being worse than murder. I personally agree with him. I think rape is worse than murder and frankly I would rather be murdered than raped. And I say that as someone who actually was raped, mind you. Rape fucks you up. I have thoughts in my head that won't go away, I'm haunted by what happened to me. At least if I had been murdered, I wouldn't have had to suffer so much.
I honestly don't know how I feel about this. If asked which I'd rather have happen to me, be sexually assaulted or murdered, I honestly don't know. That may sound absurd to some but being pinned down and having someone force themselves on to me. Not only is there going to be physical pain involved, but the psychological and mental damage done by not having control of your body, not being about to walk away from a situation, being completely controlled by another person as they torture you for however long they want, that sounds horrific to me. Not to mention the emotional damage done by the trauma that you won't get over for the rest of your life. I mean, a lot of people that have that done to them choose to end themselves afterward, because they can't handle what had happened to them, they can't stop thinking about it. If some people do that in the aftermath of that kind of trauma, then I don't think it is insane to think that some people would choose to die instead, if given the choice between the two. So it feels weird to hear Joe get so angry about something that isn't factual, and is definitely just his opinion.
Jamie Kilstein is stupid, here in the west, are understandings on what it is to be a good person, are founded off the teachings of Jesus. Just because there are bad Christians doesn't mean the teachings of Jesus are invalid or wrong. Also I don't know why he is acting like Jesus wasn't a real person, the Romans wrote about him, and he is talked about in more books than just the bible.
