I am not medical professional but I have experience with drugs and being around many users in my life. There are varying degrees of users. I think everyone using is self medicating to some degree. I personally don't see an issue with that, people deal with anxiety, depression, etc. As we all know people have trouble managing it and it usually gets out of control. Like all drugs we build tolerances to substances and because of this doses need rot be increase with time. I think this is one of the main reasons why people do not successfully self medicate with drugs. Another thing about addicts that is a mystery is how do homeless crackheads get so jacked up, they have no money or hustle so they cant be doing a ton of crack throughout the day. It has to be mental issues that have them acting so neurotic, and not the drugs.
