No 1 man can know what god knows, but man can understand what god is when chosen. God is not a he, god is an is. To worship god is to worship yourself and understand that you are your neighbour, you are the earth, you are the heavens and everything therein. I AM in you, and you are in me. This is a concept which cannot be understood by primitive minds, and I expect there will be many primitive rebuttals to this statement which is how god intended for you to perceive this information, which is perfect in its own seemingly dysfunctional way. You cannot choose it, it chooses you! The road to hell is paved with good intentions! The only thing you can do is to be your authentic self and realise that you have power, but ironically you need to lose yourself in order to find yourself. The story of the prodigal son is not understood by most, the essence of the story is that you are the father! The older son represents your intellect, the younger son represents adventurousness nature. The intellect cannot grasp the significance of the adventurous journey until you are reunited with the father in spirit, while the intellect never leaves the father (god)…. You must lose yourself in order to be reunited with yourself…
Ironically I find it to be those immersed in the literal doctrine that have the hardest time grasping the true concepts of scripture.
