Not a great answer… Job couldn't do anything… Is a conversation between God and the the devil… We have authority over the devil through Jesus Christ… Job did not have that… Start-off okay… Appears to miss the point of getting real. Answers to your direct prayers… Praying for othe
r people is good being led by the spirit….. The answers may be interfered by demons unbelief or other people that are involved that God is trying to work through … Pray to God for wisdom he may reveal what the interference is…
And then follow that… Test all things
Although many seek to find answers as to why God does not hear prayer, there really is no real reason. Certainly it is part of the general punishments that we are all under. I would that ministers devote more time explaining why prayers are denied. It is a MASSIVE problem for Christianity and a MAJOR problem in in the lives of many Christians. It does seem to be a modern problem in the history of the church and anyone who has giving it much thought will be almost at the point of concluding that God has forsaken his people and hardened his heart against them.
So unconfessed sins causes God not to grant a request? But in all of our prayers we always say forgive our sins and those who sins against us. And what is the true definition of sin?? Different cultures different view. This is confusing
But those who are not " proud" means lack of self esteem, which is also difficult.
With out some sort of pride. You become a doormat.
Recently many of my prayers have been answered lately … mostly answers to intercessory prayer. I beg him to help certain children in the elementary school I work at. I'm not good at prayer, and struggle greatly. I also praying continually for wisdom, holiness, and faith, all of which I am short of. I think He has let me see some of my prayers answered so directly to help me with my faith. Job did it, but I'm not sure how based on the New Testament. There are a certain few troubled kids, practically orphans, I work with, I beg for forgiveness of their sins, mercy, and grace. I never though I would say it, but I'm going to offer to do respite care for them. I believe prayer can be backed up with deeds as well, if they are the will of God.
