When you're talking about talking about things that are supposed to be tragic but they end up being funny I remember the joke Sam kinison did about why Jesus could never be married because no wife in 10,000 years would buy the resurrection the devoted will the believers will but no wife would ever buy the resurrection story ever and then he went on to explain how Jesus had to fight the angel of death get his soul back and go home because he missed his wife
Did he say “Tolkien everything is alright ending”? 🤔
If so he should be reminded that the Shire was raised at the end of LOTR and this is actually a great example of the realism of how the trials of life never really end being demonstrated in a high fantasy novel.
