OMG I wonder if this guy and I are related? When he told the story of his mum it brought me right back to my late husband who was much older than, but we had settled on our way of dealing with his aging and around the 10th year of marriage I’d tell him if you fall and break a hip I’m going have to put you down.. and we’d howl. He owned a nightclub and one night I came home late and was putting our dog on his leash when his arch enemy ran by and his line was wrapped around my ankle and he pulled me off our deck and I landed face first in our driveway. It must have knocked me out because I remember sort of seeing his slippers on the top deck and part of his bathrobe and him saying WTH are you doing you damn drunk get in the house before the neighbors see you.. I’m laying there with my teeth knocked out, my nose and neck broken and about 5 other really horrible injuries and all I can think is if I can get up those stairs pal…. Eeeeewewwwwww anyway it took months for me to be able to even get around without crutches my brain had quit bleeding and a neck brace, arm in a sling etc by then my irritation had begun to wane 😂😂😂
