I just put a empty plate in my microwave and it heated the plate so I don’t know if modern microwaves are using a different type of microwave or if you neglected to account for something in your calculations or what exactly but that is not true Neil Degrasse Tyson if you put an empty plate in your microwave and turn your microwave on for a minute even the plate will heat up to over 150°F
I’m not gonna argue with Neil deGrasse Tyson when it comes to physics since he has a PhD in astrophysics and is literally one of the smartest people on earth because that’s what astrophysicists are is the smartest people on earth. That’s the most elite physicist on earth but anyways, he says you can put a plate in the microwave and turn the microwave on and it won’t heat the plate up.
