Honestly Pontious Pilate washed his hand showing to people that His not idea to crucified Jesus on the cross but high priest of the Jews.
No one can mock the Holy Spirit.

The Romans for their part had no case of their own against Christ. Any reading of the exchange between Pilate and the lynch mob that had formed in the Praetorium, as well as the spontaneous sermon delivered by Peter at the event of the Pentecost miracle (Ac 2) will confirm that the Romans had never themselves sought the death of Jesus. Rather, after the long harangue, Pilate, in order to placate the crowd (Mk 15: 15), yielded to their demand.
Ac 18: 12-16 is a stark indicator of how much the Roman authorities simply did not care in the least about the local laws of the various provinces of the Empire.
Furthermore, any reading of the four gospel accounts will clearly show that the inhabitants were free to practice their religious traditions uninhibited. Herod (actually an Idumean) built their temple under the auspices of the Romans, who maintained a tradition of releasing a prisoner at Passover (which was obviously for the sake of the Jewish populace).
Jesus in Jn 15: 22 clearly faults the religious authorities with a sin that he says cannot be excused, while in Lk 23: 34 he calls for forgiveness of those who had actually pierced him on the basis that they did not know what they were doing.
What is written of the Roman centurions mentioned in Mt 8: 5-13 and Mk 15: 39 (who were high-ranking officers) is further evidence that there was no conflict between Jesus and the Romans, other than the soldiers’ mockery foisted upon him after being handed over to be nailed onto a stake.
Consider, too, the (seeming) irony of the centurion’s reaction when the curtain guarding the sanctuary was torn in two from top to bottom, as in Mt 27: 54, Mk 15: 39 and Lk 23: 47.
