  1. @ 'If you went to Australia, though they would say it so many times, it would just slip in. It would be normal.
Omg that is so true!! Actually, the word 'cunt' has many contexts in Australia.
This could be a typical conversation in Aus. (Trigger warning….please understand our jokes can be rough, and I am making a point)

'Funny story. Me and me mates were running late for work one day and because our boss can be a real nasty cunt we were rushing like fuck. Anyway, it was the middle of summer, hot as fuck, a real cunt of a day and the traffic was shit. To make things worse, I was mad that my cunt of a brother in law had just walked out on my sister and her two kids. Me mate, Micko started lightening the mood (he's a fucking funny cunt) just sitting in the back making jokes constantly, like 'how do you make a hormone?…..kick her in the cunt.
Anyway, two minutes later, my fucken cunt of a truck breaks down in the heat and blocks the fucken road. There were horns beeping and people yelling. I felt like a complete cunt.'

  2. Joe's totally right, Australians love the word 'cunt'. We use it as a compliment and an insult.

    'Ha, ha you silly cunt!'
Is a compliment and a term of affection.

That bloke over there, he's a real cunt'
Is a pejorative and means a person undeserving of respect.

Women are called cunts too, but only in the pejorative form. It's only used as a positive between men.
