Devil use imagination he is coward.
My story is in my mid twenties my drinking habit had gotten so severe that I got two DUIs in the same year. I lost my job and spent the rent on the cheapest booze you can buy. A friend of mine took me into his friends house who he helped with rent. She took me in and I got a temporary position and paid rent and drank by myself every night. I met a good Christian woman who taught me self love and I quit drinking. I moved into her mothers house where I paid rent and was still working. I didn’t get hired onto my temp to hire position and was out of work, but I was sober and prayed to God for a job, not even an hour later my uncle called me asking me if I wanted a job and could handle tree work? I said yes and thanked God. Our boss was a functioning drunk who was on a bar stool by noon and we went to the bar everyday to get paid. I would order a Dr. pepper get my money, talk with the guys and then leave, I did this without temptation for six months. I started going back to college and one day my boss bought the crew two buckets of beer. I said I was good, he asked me what my favorite beer was, Heineken, he insisted that he buy me a 4 dollar Heineken because I was such a good worker. Long story longer he bought it I drank it, he got a second DUI and I got fired a year later to the date for being a drunk and lost my job, apartment, girlfriend. The devil can use people who aren’t with Christ without them knowing especially intoxicated people. He was a good guy, and it was my flesh, but give it a year and this same guy fired me for having a drinking habit, whenever I was sober when he met me.
