As someone who went a couple of years in higher education and came from a rural area. I gotta say that Larry Sharpe's idea for education is heads and feet better than the current system that we have now. We have nobody in a trade, plus people learn nothing after the 10th grade. What I learned in college was thesis statements and reference styles in college, it's pathetic. I also learned how to be a boring public speaker. His reforms and ideas are far better than the system that we have, plus Joe just wants to keep the failing system as is. Joe sounds like both AOC and Maxine Waters on this argument. He has no clue how bad that it is.

Im in 9th grade and most of kids dont know how to even right in cursive or read a clock, all of our school books are 30 years old and i live in a middle class area. Everything is based on a test that you pass or fail, the males fail way more classes and most of them have all of the knowledge but still fail the tests, my math teacher asked me why im failing her class and i told her it's because i simply dont understand the algebra but she never asked if i need a private lesson, she never went into extra detail in class for me. So i will continue to fail algebra until someone teaches me how to do algebra and i dont see that happening anytime soon
