Fights are supposed to be about who does the most damage, but that's not how UFC fights are scored, so you can't make the argument that those decisions were incorrect based off how you think fights should be scored. They are not scored that way. Which is why wonderboy did beat till. I love joe but I don't agree with him on that one.
What the fuck was Joe talking about with Whitaker vs Romero? Yeah Romero landed bombs, but Whitaker won more rounds. That's what matters, you don't score the fight as a whole you score it round by round. Did Joe get high and forget that or something? If there's a 5 round fight and fighter A beats the piss out of fighter B in the first round, bloodies his face, breaks his nose, cuts his forehead open and the next 4 rounds are very competitive, how do you score the next 4 rounds? You can't continue to give points to fighter A because of damage done in just the first round. Hence Romero not winning rounds outside of when he hurt Whitaker.
