I fully agree but Drake and Jay weren't good examples my nigga. Drake is actually extremely talented and Jay Z is Jay cmon now. Listen to Can I live and tell me that is not top 5 rap songs of all time

There's a lot of generalizations about rap in this episode. It's not all angry and some samples are as smooth as the originals. It depends on if you listen to lame mainstream guys like Drake and Jay-Z or real rappers like Brother Ali and Cunninlynguists. Mostly everything mainstream for any medium sucks, since the lowest common denominator is usually the widest spread.
