parents hitting their kids is not bad. hitting as discipline & violent beatings are very different things. they are different like normal bullying & over the top bullying. normal bullying is a healthy, normal part of young men developing, over the top bullying is what was used to label all of male interaction as toxic. my dad would use his belt on us when we were idiots, he wasnt wrong, or bad, he was a great dad. parents having their parental rights taken away is why kids are a mess….parents are in fear of the government. since when does the government do anything well?

My dad started beating on me when I was 9 untill about 13 or so. It fucked my sister up more seeing it than me. Always thought that was strange.
Never touch my son and he's 20 and the best human I know.
I Got beatings for years lets just say as an adult I'm somewhat unstable but what it did it made me never put my hands on my kids
It's oddly reassuring that there are other individuals out there that grew up with some of the same shit I did. No kid deserves any of that
