Nah, Christian Bale is very overrated as Batman. What really makes him look like a good Batman is really Christopher Nolan as the director and the rest of the cast.
He’s not the least bit intimidating, destroys his throat trying to sound scary like an idiot, but really he just sounds like his got marbles stuck in his throat, mouth breathes, doesn’t fight like Batman would, and yelped like a whipped dog and doubled over when Talia stabbed him.
Meanwhile, BatFleck makes criminals and even cops sh*t their pants, uses a voice modulator instead of destroying his throat trying to sound intimidating, fight like comics/Arkham Batman, and when a mercenary stabbed him, he just growled, pulled the same knife out and stabbed the mercenary into the wall.
