Besides organ (donation) sex is the only thing I'm aware of that becomes illegal if you get paid for it, but unlike organ donation the reason for the law against selling it is based on some outdated moral code based on religious beliefs. Or maybe there are a bunch of insecure wives whose unattractive husbands couldn't possibly get laid unless they paid for it that want prostitution to remain a crime. Either way, the only reason it's not a victimless crime is because it's a crime.
