Why is snopes the end all be all? Oh, its not.
I know Rogan said that the non-skeptics about the single bullet theory are probably pulling their hair out listening to him, but I have to comment on it, because he keeps repeating the same, tired inaccuracies.
The single bullet simply WASN'T pristine. That's what Joe is wrong about on this topic EVERY time he brings it up. He always refers back to his memory of a picture of it being pristine, but he's remembering seeing a photo of the bullet from just ONE of the side views. When you see it from the base view, you can clearly see that it wasn't pristine. And even just using these two photos STILL doesn't provide a complete view of an entire side of the bullet.
Finally, people who have experience with firing guns at different objects say that you can get all kinds of different bullet outcomes, so this one wasn't some improbable, "magic" result. Even if it was, dynamic systems can produce seemingly odd results sometimes with projectiles. But, anyway, reconstructions of the bullet trajectory show that it just wasn't an odd result. Search for videos with Gerald Posner who is an expert on this, has done many key interviews in the past, has written a book on it, and who was interviewed multiple times last year around the assassination's anniversary.
Finally, it isn't just Arlen Spector making this stuff up off the top of his head. Even if he came up with the initial theory, there have ultimately been many experts who have contributed their perspectives on the evidence.
