  1. Every community has pathologies, and I agree with Dr. Hart that crack was a symptom of deeper, more complicated pathologies like long term unemployment, lack of education, breakdown of families, etc. Plus, it is well documented how both democrats and republicans have used crime as a means of scapegoating and how both are racist. The recent BLM movement with its platform to defund the police is actually based on well researched science. Sadly, antifa has invaded the BLM movement poisoning their efforts. So maybe it is a little too soon for BLM, but I am optimistic that if not now, very soon, America will look seriously at not only the police but the judicial system as well. There is just too much unfairness at all levels.

  2. Cocaine and crack are very different. The feeling. I have once had cocaine feel the same as crack. I had to take A LOT of good stuff to get the same feeling. This dude really needs to try one tiny rock before he can say that it's not addictive and will not create crime. He has no idea what he's talking about. Luckily for me I wound up not being able to get it anymore and was forced to stop. But I gotta say, 12 years sober, if it was in front of me I would smoke it. Still dream about in occasionally. Just seriously, don't try it. One time and you're done.

  3. In my 20’s, my roommates and I tried cocaine on the weekends and what turned me away from it was when we met these teenagers (brother and sister) who were 12-13 at the time who taught us how to cook powder cocaine into crack rocks. (Their mom turned out to be a hooker) It ripped my heart open to whiteness such young children addicted to death drugs like that and a mom like she was. I turned my life around after that day but it took my roommates a year or so to make changes. I moved out and left town for 8 years. Got married and had a child. Haven’t touched drugs for the past 15 years.
