I'm normally depressed because things aren't what they used to be and I'm having a hard time accepting that. Malls have shut down arcades are few and far between and people are barely going to the movies anymore. A lot of good shows and networks went off the air. There's just so much. My biggest cause of depression is that I cannot let go of my nostalgia 4 things
How much of this is the panic instilled in kids by their neurotic parents whom are afraid the kid has been kidnapped and killed if he/she is out of ear shot for more then 20 minutes…
When I was a kid we would leave the house and not come back for 6 hours, there were no cell phones, no Facebook messenger and, if my parents knew the crazy shit we were doing they would have had a heart attack. Kids live in a state of constant panic brought on by parents whom think there is a child molester/kidnapper/ murderer around every corner.
