I grew up in the 90s and if anybody had a camera and one of the pictures was a picture of that person, like a selfie, they were made fun of so hard. The thought that somebody would go out and buy a Kodak camera to capture them selves was funny to us because you can’t separate from yourself but you can go to Egypt! you can’t bring Egypt back home, so that’s why we had cameras to bring Egypt back to your house and show everyone. To take a picture of yourself was pointless because you can see yourself just look in the mirror just looked down at your body. Then at some point in the last 10 or 20 years selfies exploded and now everyone’s taking selfies. I don’t get it 🤷🏻♂️
