I am an MMA convert. I used to go to a shitty kickboxing club that couldn't be arsed to teach us takedowns and groundwork and made MMA look like an enemy style. We only learned takedowns and groundwork after black belt- I'm glad I did judo and ju jitsu separately. Even the Japanese ju jitsu demonised MMA but results speak for themselves- early UFC was dominated by grapplers and Randy/Chuck brought in striking. MMA is more humble than 'traditional' martial arts.

I’m a boxing fan I’m Mexican so boxing is our sport mma didn’t start going in to Mexico until like 2006 wen chuck lidel and wanderlie and all that generation was fighting but I love both sports respect to both of them !
