MMA is overrated man. I took boxing for a bit and for some reason gotten back and watching highlights, but I just look at MMA highlights and the sports is fucking overrated by how MMA fans shit on boxing fans and how it doesn't desevre respect. First of all boxing was arguably a mainstream sport back in the day. MMA isn't even that crazy big to like the NBA or NFL. Boxing used to have that prestige. But in terms of quality people don't get boxing still gives pretty good old fashioned brawls. I mean I watched highlights when Khabib beat Mcgregor, and it was boring man. All he did was wrestle him and hit in the face. MMA seems like a good sport to watch like boxing with friends, but wish annoying MMA tryhards stop disrespecting boxing like they are morally better than boxing fans. I think having to beat someone by wrestling them and fighting like high schoolers is less skillfull than boxing fmo.
MMA has essentially become inferior boxing with takedown defense.
Boxing is the best combat sport of all time, and it's not even close!!!!!

MMA is the safer sport because there are more ways to end a fight that doesn't directly result in the risk of brain damage.
