Never understood why people call it hugging. It's basic clinching, in Muay Thai they do it, MMA, Boxing. Some MMA fighters just hold the other on the cage until the ref has to break it up or lay on top of the opponent with no active movements. Love combat sports, but "fanboys" like these can't even throw a jab.
I love both Boxing and MMA… Watching someone like Lomachenko, Crawford or a fight like AJ vs Wlad shows that boxing is still alive and well. And to be honest, I feel like the UFC has been in a little decline of late, they really need someone like Jon Jones back. Hate him or love him, you can't deny that Jones is incredible to watch. For the pure fact he is one of the only fighters that fight different every single fight…yeah a slugfest can be great like Lawler and Condit, but I personally prefer the technical aspect to fighting…saying that I can't wait for Jones vs Gustafsson 2 👌
