It is an underwater or low lying island discovered in the late 1800 or early 1900, itโs named after an old steamship and an explorer , local fishermen have known about it from even before that. It is the story of the old fishermen that made it famous, it was told over and over like an old sea legend. I have been out to see it, never tried to surf it, the power and crushing noise is all I need to know not get into it. The Nuclear ship story is a myth I believe, heard that before but it is unfounded. Actually it doesnโt get surfed that often. It is surf able just a few days a year. Amazing to see and hear the power
