The problem isn't the 10-points system, the problem is the judges. Not forbid them from scoring 10-8, 10-7, 10-6, 10-5,… They just don't. It's a binary system right now. And the problem with eye pokes isn't the gloves. It's the fighters. They do all they can to threaten the eye poke to forbid the opponent from coming closer. Close your hand and we won't see eye pokes anymore.
