  1. I am not one to disagree with Joe Rogan because I agree with majority of his podcasts… but, in this case, he makes this issue of man rights too simple. In my opinion, there are way too many more societal issues pertaining to 'it' – it's not just divorce courts and alimony payments. Unfortunately, societal micro-climate exists when, in many social situations, male bashing is considered normal; and, if you stand up for general male rights in front those types of females, you would be considered social pariah – just for speaking up your mind. Unfortunately, a lot of men are afraid to stand up for themselves and, women who are present on those occasions, don't speak up and correct their female counterparts either.
I can give you are typical situation where I was involved. During one social gathering one female was bashing males right and left. Gist of her multiple speeches was: 'There are no man left… all men are assholes,…etc.' and finally, I had enough of it (by the way – she does it a lot), and I just politely corrected her saying that this is not the case at all… and I'm tired of her constant male bashing… and also said to other females: 'How come you don't say anything to her?" I finally said to her: "You know, just having a penis and couple of balls doesn't qualify male to be a man (by the way – everybody liked this part of the expression a lot) but there is a second part to this expression: just having two breasts and hole between your legs doesn't qualify female to be a woman either". You should of heard what happened next: a lot of people at this gathering, including some man, and majority of women said to me that I'm wrong, insensitive, crip, definitely a caveman, etc… and she (that female) has a right to express her feelings any time she wants to… because she is venting her frustrations…, etc. I know that if I ever said something like: "There are no women around", I would be at least correctly reprimanded (by the way – that would be absolutely socially justified reaction to my statement – in case that I would ever make it). Of course, I would never make this type of statement because: 1. I don't think this; 2. it is utterly stupid to make these types of statements.
As far as Joe Rogan is concerned, he is in upper echelon of men (as far as financial status and looks are concerned… and rightfully so – he worked and continues to work hard for it (good for him) – he put himself in this position by being who he is as a person… and, may be, some luck being on his side as well – in achieving his societal status) and lot of women would pursue him for multiple reasons and, likely, would not say anything stupid in front of him (just to be on a good side of him… and people like him); but he probably forgot or never known such social situations… and, may be, doesn't know what kinds of situations average man in this country sometimes has to put up with (As for me, I'm computer programmer (SAP ABAP) who makes well above average income; not Brad Pitt – but not Quasimodo either; as far as my figure is concerned – trying my hardest to maintain Adonis ratio – 1-3 inches off in every measurement)… others consider me attractive – so, it's not jealousy speaking… just trying to give my honest opinion on the issue (my 5 cents – so to speak).
