Love this excerpt so much!
I always knew of Rickson but never really understood. The more I see, hear and read I understand how much of a John Wayne type of guy he is. The influence and impact he has had on fighting sports is up there with Ali, Hagler. He ALWAYS stood up for his family name. Anywhere, anytime he was more than game. Very few people can carry that weight on all fronts with success and grace. Example he sets is humbling.
