On the topic of men not having opinions on abortion; I think there definitely should be a space made for male points of view, especially in the down in the personal level. For instance, say two people hook up, maybe once, maybe twice, whatever, there's no expectation of a relationship, it's just fucking. Two weeks later or whatever, she finds out she's pregnant. In example A, nobody want's a child/can't support it financially/etc, they abort, done. Example B, she doesn't want to do the whole 9 months thing, or just doesn't want the responsibility, but he would be more than happy to take sole custody even without financial input from her. But no, the final say is 100% up to her. I get that, it's HER body that's going to be ravaged for 9 months, leaving life-long unwanted side-effects. But in example C, SHE wants the kid, and HE doesn't, and there is absolutely no way he can change that. Whether or not he interacts with the kid ever, he's got to pay child support for 18 years, no questions asked. He has no "I don't want this, I'm out" clause. Sure, they both fucked up getting knocked up in a casual situation, but if the woman has any doubts whatsoever, abort it, problem solved. The guy is either happy, or completely fucked.
Frasier was a great fucking show.
