Plus the part where he says hes on the fucking HIGHWAY and out of all the cars it was a firetruck. How insanely lucky? Imagine running towards a cop car as everything around you is burning up and it fucking leaves.. Thats so devastating. Jesus this guy was lucky.
Wow, I got caught in a hotel fire myself when I was younger. Nowhere near as bad and quite frankly in the situation I was in the crowd of people evacuating the hotel was far more dangerous than the fire itself. The fire itself was ruled to be arson, someone started a fire down by the pool/arcade/elevator. It wasn't very big and I don't think anyone was hurt (maybe a few cases of smoke inhalation and sprained ankles from the evacuation itself). The thing I would tell people is to stay calm when caught in a hotel fire and be especially cautious of the people around you. A lot of people killed in those types of incidents are actually killed by the crowd trampeling people and not the fire itself. Obviously this is situational and Cejudo is talking about a much bigger fire but in general this is good advice. I have no advice for massive wild fires like he described lol
