I’m so glad I’m not the only one who didn’t think what she said was racist. When everyone was freaking out over what she said, I was so confused. I was asking “how is that racist?”
My thing as a black woman myself is….if a white person is dressed like a black celebrity for Halloween they probably aren’t racist. Why would a racist white person want anything to do with imitating or paying homage to anyone that is black??? My 20 year old daughter went as Selena for Halloween last year because she adores Selena. So my point is any person dressing like a celebrity is prob doing so because they really like that celebrity. What racists are listening to Diana Ross and loving her music so much they wanna be her for Halloween or any other day of the year? Y’all gotta do some critical thinking sometimes man.
