Joe, these diet principles are all taken from bodybuilding competitions. This is what bodybuilders do, in terms of small meals, re-feeds, etc…
i think for most people who stick with it long enough, it gets to a point where you love working out. Not once have i heard someone want to give up in the middle of a set unless it was 30+ reps.
