To chime in on what Derren said in minute 3:00. I have been to his show and while I enjoyed it all I thought I could not be hypnotized, however in his last act that lad made me lose about 15 seconds because I did not see him move the pendulum. They played the video recording after and I did not see him walk toward the pendulum and move it during the performance but he did. What I saw was him summoning the pendulum to move and it moved. But I did not see it. It was wild. I have no explanation as to what was going on with my perception then. But what he did and what I observed him do were two different things. Fucking wild.
Listening to his explanations shoas he doesnt understand it fully himself.
This leads me to question is it the hypnotised or the hypnotist creating the actions ?
Does darren have powers or are the people just easily manipulated.

Bottom line – He's not telling us how he hypnotises people.
