Eaten horse meat in Belgium and Germany, very tasty. Actually in America, other than 4 states, it is NOT illegal to eat horse meat, but it is illegal to sell horse meat.
It’s not so much about eating the horse, than it is how it’s done. There is just more emphasis on how it’s done to the horse, than to other animals, but they are all treated the same. That’s the heart breaking part. American’s waste so much making the demand a lot higher. This makes slaughtering and raising practices cut corners and treat the animals terribly. The idea is who cares they are going to die anyway. Well, so are we- should we be tortured until the end? I wish the raising and slaughtering was a lot more humane, but that will never happen in a country that’s wasteful. We are wasteful, which is why the other organs aren’t used and just wasted.
