I don't understand the Christian mind at all. Here we are assured that man is "the pinnacle of creation" as "the best was saved for last". In Genesis 2, however, man is created just after the plants, before the garden is planted, left long enough to become lonely, so that the birds and animals are made for him and then the woman is built from a piece of the man. This means that the WOMAN is the last piece to be put into place: without her the picture would have been unfinished.
It is thus WOMAN who is " pinnacle of creation", the "best" that "was saved for last". Man was merely the vessel that provided the part needed for her construction. Man was made from the same DEAD DUST that was used to mould the animals, whereas woman was made from the LIVING FLESH of the man. From this we must conclude that man is of little value to God: it is WOMAN with whom He wants to associate, but man thinks that HE is the apple of God's eye!
I have a funny feeling that all the men who have placed women lower than themselves are going to be in for a nasty shock come Judgement Day!
