Joe, no offense intended but you are very ignorant on this subject. Very! The entire conversation revolves around the individual. I’ve bow hunted my entire life and I’ve lost quite a few animals with the bow. I’ve spear hunter for 5 years and I’ve never lost an animal. My average kill distance is 5 ft with the spear and I’ve never lost an animal with it. Try it before you knock it!
An argument could be used for both yea spear hunting is unethical because you may wound the animal but also could be more ethical in a means that the animal has a chance to defend itself and make you the victim instead of lights out at 50 yards with no risk
