Alcohol use is the antithesis of mindfulness. SMH
This describes my path through trouble drinking. I tried AA but it was not a fit. I have come to moderate / abstain with little effort even though my life is not completely where I want it to be.
As someone with epilepsy who was put on loads of pharmaceutical drugs with horrible side effects from the age of 11, it's extremely frustrating to hear that these studies were shut down. I have had to take my healing into my own hands in order to reduce the drugs they put me on. I'm finally nearly off them completely thanks to alternative treatments.
