Pray for me for I don't want to be a lukewarm christian.
Please pray for me I know I’m a lukewarm Christian and I want to better myself for him but I’m so addicted to my phone and doing other things then spreading the gospel and praying and reading my Bible and I know it’s supposed to be hard but please pray
Over and over again I realize that I'm a sinner and the more I try to change my ways the more I find myself back in my sinful ways. I don't want to be two faced, the devil is trying to win me over but I can still hear God's voice calling me his own. I pray that I and others out there who are facing the same situation should find strength to overcome temptations
Please pray for me. I admit that I have been sinning, and I have resented God for giving cancer to my friend, but I realized that it’s not His fault. I truly am a lukewarm christian and I want to change that. I’m so sorry Lord for what I have said. Please forgive my sins and lead me to the right path. I feel really lost right now.
If you read what Jesus is saying about the Lukewarm, it’s clear he’s describing those who are rich, in need of nothing and who are NOT BELIEVERS, THEY ARE UNSAVED!!
“I counsel thee to BUY OF ME gold tried in the fire, that thou MAY BE RICH; and WHITE RAIMENT, that thou MAYBE clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou MAY SEE. As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent. Behold, I STAND AT THE DOOR AND KNOCK: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.”
Revelation 3:18-20 KJV
Christ is knocking on the door of these rich mens hearts, he is basically begging them to receive him.
These rich, in need of nothing “lukewarm” are no different than the rich in this verse……
“It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a RICH MAN to enter into the kingdom of God.”
Mark 10:25 KJV
It’s PRIDE that keeps man from fully coming to believing on Christ.
It’s the very reason God hates pride!
“Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein.” Mark 10:15 KJV
It takes humility to fully believe.
A heart full of the things of this world and full of pride will have a difficult time coming to Christ, that’s exactly what the lukewarm church is doing.
Christ would NEVER spew out one of his own because of sin, he DIED for our sins! All of the BELIEVERS sins have been paid IN FULL on the cross over 2000 years ago BEFORE you even committed them!!!
Think about that!!
