Please pray mightily for my 5 children. They were raised in the church but have all chosen to go out into the world. Many tears I have have shed and will never stop praying for them until my dying day. May God continue to bless all you do to share God's truth with the whole world.
As a Christian, it saddens me that Christians don't understand what "pride" in the queer sense means. It's to do with the idea that queer folks are themselves despite the discrimination (from hateful non-Christians, not from actual loving Christians, though I know queer folks lump that together because they don't understand the bible)… It's not necessarily "Look at me, I'm awesome", it's "I'm happy with who I am even though many people want me dead". Two different kinds of pride. I'm not a person of color myself but I know POC being proud of their heritage despite the horrid racism they deal with. Is that bad too? If not, then the queer folks should be allowed to be proud. I know that the bible says we are to be humble, but if queer folks have chosen their path, I say let them. We cannot and should not try to tell them how to live if they aren't willing to hear the Word. Just my two cents, though
