If we are in a simulation, whose not to say our simulated life is not repeatable. The next time around, would people continue to be prone to having the same lifetime of experiences? I would say not, but that would mean we would have a better understanding of our purpose in life, if its not the first and one out of many lives lived. If this is a simulated world, in a simulated universe, whose to say this life would be the first? Perhaps by chance/choice this life would be the last. If then, this life is the first life, it has taken us a very long time through the course of history to define a purpose to live outside the simulated universe. And why would anyone not leave the simulation? Perhaps in the future, our Being manifested along with our technology, and life became such a bore that we had to virtually live inside the box of our creation, until the creation became the Creator- now we are in trouble.
