Then, It only takes one split second to make a counter shot, or the fighter coming forward getting caught and being slightly light-headed and rubber legged and the door of opportunity opens wider for the opponent. Add to this how much "homework" has been done in training – looking for possible chinks in the armor, or looking at opportunities to expand on the weaker aspects of the opponents technique etc., This, for me is where great fights are made – won and lost.
Too many shows and movies, not enough training; and definitely went from a fighting mentality to one of superstardom…and she paid heavily.
