Jordan Peterson's advice for men basically boils down to get a decent paying job, get some girl pregnant and pay for all of it which is fine if your a white guy in the 50's. There's something about his message that ignores what the world is today. Shitty, low paying jobs exists in abundance and someone has to work them in order for the economy and to a greater regard, society to function. Add in corporatism, globalization, immigration and feminism and now the average male has to work alot longer/harder for alot less due to there being an abundance of relatively qualified people ready to take your job from under you and a room full of greedy shit heads at the top sucking up all the profits for themselves.
Male value lies in acquiring resources and protection. The society we've built today is quickly rendering the male role obsolete. Women can get there own resources and the justice system provides adequate enough protection. Meanwhile female value of attractiveness and reproduction are at an all time high. Women don't even value us for providing so I ask, what is the point of being a man?
Regarding taking on more responsibility, I have been devoting more time to study and exercise but its making things even worse as i feel tired all the time and scared that it doesn't have any meaning, does anyone who's studied his lectures have a suggestion?
