I appreciate many ideas of JP, but the discussion on hierarchy doesn't fit with patriarchy issues. It is a fact that in many WESTERN societies women couldn't vote or perform basic social functions without a man, until somewhere around the 1970s. This continues in many non western countries, were women can be even lapidated. This is an historical fact and it makes no justice to your argument to ignore it. Why can't women walk safely alone at night in most cities while men can? I agree on many distortions imposed by "me too" or extreme feminism, but to cast the argument in overly simplistic terms as you do (reducing it to a work preference issue) is not useful to a progressive stance. Beware of prophets. Some of their ideas might be correct, but do not follow them blindly.
no one seems to possess the judgement to successfully identify the unjustly dispossessed, let alone to determine the means by which to eradicate the injustice.
P😅
And preference..
"Another short point said long" is a good way to describe Peterson. He makes so many good points but tends to over explain them
