Think about this: if we say we trust God then in reality we are saying we trust in our interpretation of God — whether our interpretation of God is partial or full, correct or erroneous. Faith is having no doubt whatsoever, Romans 14 and doubt is sin. However, I am not trying to cause doubt to arise in your mind, but I am trying to get you to grow from a simple milky understanding to strong meat: Hebrews 5 KJV. We all have a soul, so we should all seek the truth directly from God. As did Peter when he proclaimed Jesus is the son of God. There are two kinds of worship: true worship like the man born blind and healed by Jesus, and false worship which is idolatry. Idolatry is to pretend God needs our worship to be holy and omniscient. For example in the Lord's prayer we should not say Hallowed be thy name but we should say hallowed is thy name, because 'be' is implying we make God hallowed by our worship — it is a slight but important difference. We also see that God does not lead us into temptation, so: and suffer us not to be led into temptation but deliver us from our evil. True worship, then, is faith in the power of God's mild spirit. Hebrews 4:12 gives us a correct idea of God and the power of God. It reveals to us that God is extremely precise. It is this spirit that gave David the power to defeat Goliath and slay thousands.
