I watched this video 6 times in a row. Mind = blown.
This shit is so accurate, this man knows how to say whats in the subconsciousness of many of us.
He definitely twists and reduces these topics. It is a shame he is basically repeating Buckley and has no original thoughts
Identifying with identity is a mistake. We all change day to day, year to year, life to life.
You cant truely identify with any characteristic in your life because they all one day will be subject to changing either in this life or in future lifes based on the action you perform in the present. This whole identity politics thing i think is based on delution that you are fundermentally what you are now and will always be that but most decent people who go through life change there views when they come across better views that lead to better results. With your better or worse results people become something different. I think even these entrenced identitys that people are stuck with for life can change too when you take in the possiblity for future lifes. Take action that is going to lead to results that make you and others happy now and in the future. If you want to solve this which i believe both sides do each person has to find a way to work towards finding space for the other sides veiws and never resort to violence. There should be free speech but harmonius speech should be encouraged as people can be hurt by speech.
