  1. 39:12 Apologies for replying to this topic again, but it does break my heart that fellow Christians are so (for lack of a better word) uneducated about the trans experience. That mom's son probably has (or had) alot of pain that can be alleviated by gender affirming care (helps most of the time) yet he is being shielded from kids who could learn how to treat trans folks like human beings rather than monsters? Kids are not gonna become trans themselves just because a trans person exists. They can still learn about their experience and grow up identifying as a cis person. As long as they are loving, it's fine. But even if a kid grows up trans, so what? You don't "become" trans, that's not how it works. You either are or aren't. And being trans doesn't mess with what God created, either. Who's to say that God didn't make that mom's son a man but sin assigned him as female when he was born? It is not a sin to identify as trans, but it is awful to force people to identify as cis if it hurts them. It was a miracle that I discovered I was trans nonbinary, God gave me something to help articulate how I've felt all these years. And I'm much happier now.

  2. Interesting example about the ice cream pastor Doug. According to my knowledge, we can rather eat meat than the combination of both sugar and milk according to the spirit of prophecy. We should stay away from everything unhealthy and only consume sparingly of that which is good. That is true temperance…
